
Managing Director, Beau Berni has spent his lifetime in the development and operation of amusement parks and locaiton based attractions. As the fourth generation of his direct Berni family lineage, Beau has spent his childhood, adolescence, adult, and professional career within the leisure industry.
In 30+ years Mr. Berni has established a strong reputation for developing new properties and directly managing many of those businesses to ensure success. Having immediate family and extended family work as owners, operators, and consultants within the amusement industry, Beau has learned the traditions of amusement operations, the processes of attraction development, best safety practices, and project management from both his personal and professional life. That foundation has served as the basis while pushing industry practices forward and innovating using current trends and modern processes that are constantly evolving and under continuous improvement.
Serving a diverse career Mr. Berni has performed and held numerous leadership and executive positions in theme park management and development, attraction sales, retail, food & beverage, special event / entertainment, marketing, and facility operations. Beau has cultivated numerous relationships with industry suppliers and fellow operators, he holds AIMS certifications in Operations and as a Ride Inspector, is a certified ServSafe foor protection manager and is an IAAPA certified Attractions Executive. Mr. Berni has worked internationally as a consultant to amusement park owners and operators in Europe and Asia and even served as a construction manager for a new theme park when he was part of its operations leadership team.
Other notable roles held; General Manager of The Island in Pigeon Forge,Tennessee (a 20-acre entertainment destination with amusement attractions, 60+ retail stores, on-site lodging, and national food and beverage operators), where Beau lead the operations and co-led over 65 million in investments over 18 months. In the greater New York City market, Beau was a strategic and key team
member in the revitalization efforts of Coney Island where he worked closely with the City of New York's Office of the Mayor and the New York City Economic Development Corporation to create and launch Luna Park. Mr. Berni has dedicated his personal and professional life to the amusement industry and believes it plays an integral and positive role in society and how we live within it.
